Portland CSI May 2019 Chapter Meeting – AEC Trivia Night

Join Portland Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Tuesday, May 14th at Century Bar for Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Trivia Night. All experience levels are welcome! There will be questions for Architects, Specifiers, Product Reps, Engineers, Contractors, Owners and Architectural History Buffs. Meet some new people and try to put together a team with a diverse area of knowledge.

There are four major players responsible for Wallboard and Stucco installations. Those players are the Owner, Architect, General Contractor and Specialty Contractor.

Presenter – Terry Kastner

Terry Kastner has been involved with Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau (NWCB) since 2007 and is the current Executive Director. Terry has thirteen years of field related experience in Light Gauge Metal Framing, Drywall Installations, Drywall Finishing, Acoustical Ceiling Installation and Exterior cladding of Stucco and EIFS.

Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau is a nonprofit trade association for the wall and ceiling industry, serving a wide-ranging membership of contractors, manufacturers, dealers, labor organizations and other professionals in the industry.

Ms. Santos has won international design competitions, published work in journals worldwide, and has worked in cultures as diverse as Japan, Africa and the United States. Ms. Santos will focus on her most recent professional practice and academic efforts in the realm of housing and affordable communities.
