Available in liquid applied and rolled goods, Weather Resistive Barriers (WRBs) are monolithically attached to the vertical surface between the cavity wall and the “finished” exterior, to help prevent moisture intrusion. They can be either air barriers or “breathable” vapor permeable barriers depending on the needs of the project. Often, WRBs will “tie in” to window flashing systems, sealants and coatings on the project – so check with your Atlas Supply representative for any compatibility issues.
