Weather Resistive Barriers (WRB)
Available in liquid applied and rolled goods, these products
are monolithically attached to the vertical surface between the cavity
wall and the "finished" exterior to help prevent moisture intrusion.
WRBs can be either air barriers or "breathable" vapor permeable
barriers depending on the needs of the project. Often, WRBs will "tie
in" to window flashing systems, sealants and coatings on the project
– so check with your Atlas Supply representative for any compatibility
issues.
