Program
This interactive demonstration will help attendees understand the importance of appropriate material selection, construction sequencing and design details in the construction of energy efficient building envelopes. An emphasis is placed on practical, buildable detailing of typical through-wall penetrations.

The test chamber used to compare performance of these building mock-ups is calibrated to conduct common ASTM, AAMA and sever weather testing in excess of Category 5 Hurricane conditions.

Presenter
Stacey Grund has more than 25 years in the construction industry. As the fifth-generation principal of the Grund family firm, founded 1898, Stacey oversees three companies encompassing painting; repair, restoration and general contracting; and manufacturing. His experience includes everything from field labor to expert testimony on costs and defects in construction litigation. Stacey holds twin bachelors degrees from Central Washington University, in Political Science, and Economics.
